Job summary

Mars Wrigley Albany in Albany, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to advance predictive maintenance across plant equipment. You will employ vibration analysis, thermography, MCA, and ultrasonics to predict failures and guide proactive repairs.

You'll work with the Maintenance Engineering group for root-cause analysis and collaborate with Engineering for new installations. The role requires 12+ months in role, basic computer skills, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have 12+ months in current role.
• Approval from line manager to apply.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Capable of training Maintenance Technicians on equipment.
• Advanced understanding of AC/DC electrical up to 480VAC and 12KV DC.
• Some travel is expected.

Responsibilities

• Use PdM technologies to baseline and trend deviations to prevent failures.
• Schedule and run data acquisition routes; maintain online monitoring equipment.
• Analyze data to eliminate nuisance alarms and enable timely repairs.
• Work with Maintenance Engineering for Root Cause Analysis and autopsies.
• Collaborate with Engineering to install new equipment with longevity in mind.
• Perform acceptance tests for new equipment using predictive tech.
• Ensure right technologies are applied to assets at correct frequencies.
• Provide metrics and case studies to support program ROI.
• Assist with criticality analysis, PM optimization, and asset matrices.
• Maintain clean and secure work area.
