Job summary

Mars Wrigley in Albany, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to monitor and maintain packaging and manufacturing equipment using predictive technologies. The role emphasizes reducing unplanned downtime, performing root cause analyses, and implementing TPM practices.

You will work on 12-hour rotating shifts and may travel. Strong electrical knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment are required.

Qualifications

Minimum 12+ months in role and approval from line manager to apply.
High school diploma or GED.
1+ years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment or related technical background.
Advanced understanding of AC/DC electrical up to 480VAC and 12KV DC.
Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Use PdM technologies to determine baselines and trend deviations to prevent failures.
Schedule and run routes for data acquisition; maintain online monitoring equipment.
Analyze data to eliminate nuisance alarms and expedite repairs.
Work with Maintenance Engineering to perform Root Cause Analysis and autopsies.
Interface with Engineering to ensure new installations maximize longevity.
Perform acceptance tests for new equipment using Predictive technologies.
Provide reporting and metrics on program ROI and document case studies.
Assist with criticality analysis, PM optimization, and asset care matrices.
Ensure work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.
