Job summary

Emerald Isle Foods LLC in Richmond, VA is seeking a Sanitation employee to support cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining hygienic conditions in the precut operation. You will help ensure safe, high-quality products while complying with regulatory requirements and company standards.

The role requires working a midnight shift with the ability to lift heavy objects using a pallet jack and familiarity with GMP/SOPs and SDS handling. Prior HACCP/Serve Safe certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• HACCP or Serve Safe certification preferred.
• Able to lift heavy objects with a pallet jack.
• Flexible schedule between 12am–6am.
• Experience in refrigerated climate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a hygienic, efficient work environment.
• Promote health and safety in the workplace.
• Follow GMP and sanitation SOPs and SDS handling procedures.
• Clean and sanitize tools, equipment, and areas using detergents and sanitizers.
• Ensure cleanliness of food processing areas and equipment.
