SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Preconstruction Project Engineer in San Diego, CA. The role supports the preconstruction team, coordinates project deliverables, and helps meet profitability and schedule goals.

This position is team oriented, fast paced, and involves regular in-office work in San Diego with a hybrid schedule. The candidate will assist with meetings, documentation, LNTP alignment, CPM scheduling, and the CMiC system.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of construction-related experience or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of construction cost accounting.
• Basic estimating and scheduling skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend and document project meetings (minutes).
• Set up and maintain electronic filing system and document logs.
• Assist with CPM scheduling and updating master CPM schedule.
• Review, analyze, and transmit submittals and RFIs.
• Maintain PCI log in CMiC system and set up CMiC system components.
• Assist in preparing bid packages and project procedures.
• Support scope, budget, and schedule alignment with LNTPs.

This position is team oriented, fast paced and responsible for the coordination and completion of the assigned projects. This role is hybrid with regular in office presence in San Diego, CA.
