BUILD Renewables in Minneapolis, MN is seeking an Assistant Preconstruction Manager to steer pursuit and pre-mobilization planning for renewable energy projects. You will lead estimating, engineering, and procurement efforts while managing client relationships during the preconstruction phase.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, coordinating with engineering partners, and guiding the bid process to secure successful project sales. Travel up to 25% is required as projects are nationwide.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Construction Engineering related field.
• Three (3) years of experience in Project Management or Engineering of construction.
• Prior experience on utility-scale renewable energy projects preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively at a Manager level, written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Bluebeam and construction-related software.

Responsabilidades

• Preconstruction planning for renewable energy construction projects.
• Lead the estimating, engineering and procurement project team.
• Build relationships with vendors, suppliers, engineering partners, customers and other departments.
• Manage communication with customers during preconstruction phase.
• Review drawings and specifications for issues, accuracy, and risks.
• Lead estimating process and present to customer.
• Ensure estimates are complete and suggest margin enhancements.
• Lead design meetings and coordinate with engineering partners for IFC design documents.
• Support review of EPC agreements and scope of work for project sales.
• Evaluate risk factors across engineering, procurement, and project execution.
