Just Construction Recruitment seeks a Preconstruction Manager to lead estimating and preconstruction activities for commercial and industrial projects in South Carolina. You will oversee estimates from concept through final pricing, coordinating with clients, subcontractors and operations to deliver competitive and sound proposals.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, managing take-offs, developing budgets and procurement strategies, supporting scheduling and constructability reviews,

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial or industrial construction estimating required.
• Leads estimates from concept through GMP or lump-sum pricing.
• Proficiency in Destini or equivalent estimating software.
• Strong Excel, Bluebeam and MS Office skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead multiple estimates from conceptual budgeting through final GMP or lump-sum pricing.
• Review drawings, specifications and contract documents to identify scope gaps and project risks.
• Manage quantity take-offs, subcontractor pricing and cost analysis.
• Develop project budgets, procurement strategies and value engineering solutions.
• Support scheduling, constructability reviews and project planning.
• Build strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers and trade partners.
• Support business development, project pursuits, client presentations and interviews.
• Maintain historical cost data and improve estimating processes.
• Mentor and develop estimating staff.
• Ensure smooth handover from preconstruction to project operations.
