Job summary

Jobot in Wisconsin is seeking a Self-Perform Estimator to join a top General Contractor and help drive preconstruction efforts for commercial projects. You will conduct takeoffs, prepare estimates, and bids, and contribute to project planning in a fast-paced environment.

With at least 2 years of estimator experience, you will use estimating software, apply solid construction knowledge, and collaborate with clients and the team to ensure competitive, accurate bids.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Estimator in construction.
• Proven experience with takeoffs, estimates, quantity take off, preparing bids, and conceptual estimating.
• Advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

• Perform takeoffs, estimates, and bid preparation with accuracy.
• Prepare conceptual estimates and cost analyses.

Job Details

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Estimator in the Construction industry.
• Proven experience with takeoffs, estimates, quantity take off, preparing bids, and conceptual estimating.
• Advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Proficiency in using estimating software and tools.
• Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Professional certification in estimating or a related field is a plus.
