Job summary

Eden Capital Careers is seeking a highly experienced Preconstruction Manager to lead estimating, budgeting, and planning for complex projects. You will coordinate design teams, procurement, and client presentations, ensuring GMP alignment and on-time delivery.

You will manage the preconstruction phase from award through turnover to Operations, mentor the estimating team, and partner with the Market Lead and stakeholders to optimize value and risk management across design phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering/Architecture or related field.
• 7–10 years of estimating or preconstruction experience.
• Experience with Design-Build, CMAR, and negotiated delivery.
• Ability to lead client-facing meetings and present budgets.
• Proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating team to produce accurate cost estimates across design phases.
• Manage budgets from contract execution through GMP development.
• Develop and maintain preconstruction schedules.
• Coordinate design team activities and constructability reviews.
• Oversee GMP development and owner presentations.
• Coordinate procurement and subcontractor prequalification.
• Provide day-to-day leadership of the estimating team.
• Serve as primary point of contact for owners and design partners.
• Ensure turnover to Operations at project completion.
