Job summary

Your Talent Team is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead the estimating function and drive budgets through GMP milestones. This role coordinates design teams, procurement planning, and contract administration to ensure feasibility and readiness for construction.

You will collaborate with owners, designers, and contractors to develop budgets, schedules, and value-driven solutions, while guiding the team and communicating progress to stakeholders across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in estimating, preconstruction, or project management.
• Strong understanding of Design-Build, CMAR, and negotiated delivery methods.
• Experience preparing detailed construction cost estimates and GMP proposals.
• Proficient with Procore and Bluebeam; strong communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the estimating team to produce accurate cost estimates across design phases.
• Manage project budgets from contract execution through GMP development.
• Develop and maintain preconstruction schedules from award through groundbreaking.
• Coordinate design team activities and lead constructability reviews.
• Oversee GMP development and owner presentation process for approval.
• Coordinate subcontractor prequalification and bid strategy.
• Provide day-to-day leadership of the estimating team and cross-functional collaboration.
• Lead client-facing budget presentations and keep stakeholders informed.
