Job summary

Lane Construction is seeking a highly experienced professional based in the Central Florida area to support projects primarily in Central Florida, with 25-35% travel. The role focuses on leading Alternative Delivery pursuits and projects, with responsibility for proposal compliance, design deliverables, budgets, risk, and scheduling coordination.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience in alternative delivery projects; a PE license is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
10 years of experience in alternative delivery projects with increasing responsibility.

Responsibilities

Lead the delivery and execution of Alternative Delivery pursuits and projects (Design Build, CM/GC, Progressive Design Build).
Oversee design management, preconstruction budgets, risk development, and scheduling coordination.
Facilitate constructability reviews during pursuit and preconstruction phases.
Drive value engineering to optimize cost, schedule, quality, and risk.
Build and maintain client relationships and support procurement with vendors and subcontractors.
Manage RFQs, RFIs, and contract documents as primary client contact.
Coordinate with internal teams, JV partners, and stakeholders to define scope, cost, and schedule.
Lead post-award preconstruction activities, including ROW and permitting coordination.
