Design‑Build Construction Specialist – Florida

Lead integrated project delivery efforts from preconstruction through execution, ensuring alignment between design and construction teams while maintaining schedule, budget, and quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design‑build project delivery teams, integrating engineering, design, and construction disciplines.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and key stakeholders.
• Oversee project planning, execution, and closeout to ensure successful delivery.
• Facilitate collaboration between design and construction teams to optimize schedules, costs, and constructability.
• Provide constructability reviews and value engineering recommendations.
• Support development and execution of design‑build proposals and contracts.
• Manage construction activities, including contractor performance, compliance, and quality assurance.
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, and risk factors; implement corrective measures as needed.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication.
• Participate in business development efforts, including pursuits and interviews.
• Represent the firm in industry events and professional organizations.

Market Focus (Preferred)

• Aviation: airfield, terminal, or landside infrastructure projects.
• Vertical building projects and/or transportation, power or infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

• Background spanning both design and construction environments.
• Experience within an engineering consulting or design‑build firm.
