Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Site Development Preconstruction Manager for our Charlotte team. You will oversee estimating, budgeting and preconstruction activities to deliver accurate cost projections and competitive bids while coordinating with clients, engineers and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of estimating/preconstruction experience in civil/site work, a related BS, and hands-on experience with HCSS HeavyBid, Agtek, EarthWorks, AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar tools.

• BS in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of estimating/preconstruction experience within civil/site work.
• Experience with civil/site projects such as grading, utilities, earthwork, erosion control.

As a Site Development Preconstruction Manager on our team in Charlotte, you will be overseeing estimating, budgeting, and preconstruction activities to deliver accurate cost projections, competitive bids, and strong coordination with clients, engineers, and subcontractors. The role includes developing detailed and conceptual estimates, evaluating geotechnical and design information, managing subcontractor pricing, and identifying risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving strategies.

MUST HAVE:

• BS in a related field OR equivalent professional experience
• 3+ years of estimating/preconstruction experience within the civil/site work space
• Experience with civil/site work projects such as grading, utilities, earthwork, erosion control, etc
• Estimating Software: HCSS HeavyBid, Agtek, EarthWorks, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or other
