Choate Construction is seeking a Preconstruction Manager in Tampa, FL to lead the preconstruction phase with clarity, discipline, and collaboration.
With 6–10 years in construction and about 3 years in estimating, you will oversee estimating, bidding, scheduling, and contracting, aligning client expectations with project strategies to drive successful delivery.
As a Preconstruction Manager at Choate Construction, you play a critical role in setting projects up for success by leading the preconstruction phase with clarity, discipline, and collaboration. This role is designed for construction professionals with 6–10 years of overall construction experience, including approximately three years of hands‑on estimating experience, who are ready to take ownership of increasingly complex pursuits. You are responsible for the daily management, coordination, and successful execution of preconstruction efforts—overseeing estimating, bidding, scheduling, and contracting activities to achieve accurate, competitive, and achievable cost objectives. Partnering closely with the Director of Preconstruction and Project Management teams, you serve as a key bridge between early‑stage planning and execution, helping align client expectations, project strategy, and operational realities to position Choate Construction for successful project delivery.
