Job summary

MCL Construction is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager to lead early-phase estimating, budgeting, and strategy for complex projects in the Omaha area. You will partner with owners, design teams, and operations to ensure constructability and value-driven outcomes.

This role requires a track record of leading preconstruction teams through GMP or final pricing, strong client-facing skills, and expertise with CMAR, Design-Build, or GMP methods.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial construction experience in preconstruction or estimating.
• Experience leading projects from conceptual budgeting through GMP or final pricing.
• Strong knowledge of estimating, cost modeling, constructability, value management, and market pricing.
• Proven ability to lead and develop preconstruction or estimating teams.
• Strong client-facing experience with owners and design teams, including pursuits, proposals, presentations, and interviews.
• Experience with CMAR, Design-Build, GMP, or other integrated delivery methods.
• Healthcare, mission critical/data center, federal, education, or other complex commercial project experience is highly valued.
• Proficiency with estimating software, VDC, and construction technology.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
