Preconstruction Manager – Commercial Construction

Location: Charlotte, NC

Salary: $140,000 - $170,000 base

The successful candidate will lead an established team of four Estimators, working closely with senior leadership and taking part in executive meetings, providing strategic input as the business continues to expand.

The company delivers projects ranging from $500K-$70M across a diverse portfolio including commercial, industrial, healthcare, public, office and retail sectors. Projects are delivered through a variety of procurement methods including Design-Build, CMAR, negotiated and hard bid, so experience across multiple delivery methods is highly desirable.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Preconstruction Manager, Senior Estimator or Chief Estimator with a Commercial General Contractor
• Experience across a diverse portfolio of commercial construction projects
• Strong knowledge of Design-Build, CMAR, negotiated and hard bid delivery methods
• Proven experience leading and developing estimating teams
• Stable employment history demonstrating long-term commitment and career progression
