Job summary

Centurion Selection seeks an experienced Preconstruction Manager for a leading commercial general contractor in Boca Raton, FL. You will lead estimating, budgeting, planning, procurement and turnover to operations, collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors and internal teams.

Responsibilities include guiding preconstruction from design through contract award, preparing estimates and budgets, managing bids, scheduling, and ensuring a smooth handover to delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of preconstruction or estimating experience on commercial projects.
• Knowledge of commercial construction methods, costs, and subcontractor markets.
• Experience budgeting from concept through buyouts.
• Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills.

The Preconstruction Manager will lead projects through estimating, budgeting, planning, procurement, and turnover to operations. This person will work closely with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal project teams to develop accurate budgets and effective construction strategies

Requirements

• Previous preconstruction or estimating experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, costs, and subcontractor markets
• Experience managing projects from conceptual budgeting through buyouts
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with estimating, scheduling, and construction-management software.
