Job summary

Michels Power, Inc. is seeking a General Manager - Preconstruction to provide strategic leadership for the preconstruction organization, pursue major power delivery projects, and align procurement, risk, and budget planning with corporate objectives.

You will manage a team of professionals across estimating, engineering, and operations, partnering with executive leadership to drive growth and project startup success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in construction/engineering/business or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in preconstruction, estimating, or project management.
• Experience leading large, complex pursuits in utility, transmission, or EPC sectors.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for preconstruction and project pursuits.
• Develop standards and initiatives to improve consistency, quality, and readiness.
• Oversee risk assessments, budgeting, procurement planning, and contract strategy.
• Lead pursuit strategies and align commercial objectives with operations.
