Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead estimating activities for conceptual budgets, detailed estimates, cost studies, and competitive bids for projects in Milwaukee. The role involves directing the estimating team, reviewing costs, and ensuring alignment with project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Incorporates requirements from drawings and bid terms into bid strategy.
• Performs quantity takeoffs for large, complex bids and oversees takeoff process.
• Leads subcontractor and supplier solicitation and recommends awardees.
• Takes ownership of the estimate and reviews direct/indirect costs.
• Reviews schedule and execution strategy to align with the estimate.
• Leads estimate reviews and develops bid clarifications for large projects.
• Applies knowledge to tackle complex problems and shares expertise with the Estimating team.
