Job summary

Leapley Construction Group is seeking a Preconstruction Manager in Atlanta, GA to guide projects from early budgeting through buyout. You will own ROMs, test-fit budgets, GMPs, and drive bid processes across interiors, renovations, and ground-up work.

Qualifications

7+ years of estimating or preconstruction experience with a commercial general contractor or construction manager.
Experience running estimates from concept through GMP or hard bid on interiors, renovations, or adaptive reuse.
Strong grasp of construction means and methods and how MEP systems drive cost.
Experience developing value engineering ideas to save cost while protecting design intent.
Clear written and verbal communication, including presenting numbers to owners and design teams.

Responsibilities

Budgeting, estimating, and creating ROMs, test-fit budgets and GMPs for multiple projects.
Manage bid packages, bidder lists, RFIs, addenda, and sub-bid analysis.
Lead value engineering and advise on constructability, scope risk, and procurement strategy.
Present budgets and estimates to owners, brokers, architects, and leadership.
Turn over a complete buyout package and support early construction.
