Job summary

Pepper Construction seeks a creative, driven Marketing Intern to learn marketing in the construction sector, from pursuit to completion. You’ll help design print/digital collateral, capture on-site media, and support proposals and internal comms in a collaborative setting.

Ideal candidates are current undergrad juniors/seniors studying Marketing, Communications/PR, or Graphic Design, with Adobe Suite and social media experience, and strong writing, proofreading, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Current college student entering Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year with relevant coursework for 2026/27.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and/or Illustrator) and Microsoft Office.
• Experience creating and managing content for social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook).
• Strong graphic design, writing and proofreading skills with adherence to brand standards.
• Able to work collaboratively and independently on deadline-driven projects.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
• Reliable transportation for travel to work-related activities.

Responsibilities

Curious how marketing plays a role in construction? Pepper Construction is seeking a creative, driven, detail-oriented Marketing Intern who’s eager to learn the ins and outs of marketing in the construction industry. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a collaborative team while gaining exposure to how marketing supports every stage of a construction project, from pursuit to completion.

You Will Work On Projects That May Include

• Designing print and digital marketing collateral
• Attending events and jobsites as needed to take photos and video content for social media
• Assisting with proposals, presentations and internal communications

• Supporting additional day-to-day marketing needs as needed

This position will be exposed to many facets of the business and interact with senior management. As such, the successful candidate will learn how to fill a creative role within a corporate setting. Likewise, Pepper is excited to hear fresh ideas and gain a different perspective.

Position Requirements

• Current college student entering their Sophomore, Junior or Senior year studying Marketing, Communications/Public Relations, Graphic Design or similar discipline with relevant coursework during the 2026/27 school year (required).
• Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and/or Illustrator) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience creating and managing content for social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook
• Strong graphic design, writing and proofreading skills, with an emphasis on adhering to brand standards
• Comfortable working both collaboratively and independently on deadline-driven projects
• Able to follow direction on assigned tasks while taking initiative and ownership on others
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities
• Reliable transportation for travel to and from work-related activities and assignments
