We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Preconstruction Intern to join our team. This internship provides hands‑on experience supporting the preconstruction process, including estimating, project planning, bid coordination, and document management. You’ll work closely with estimators, project managers, and subcontractors, gaining valuable insight into the early phases of construction project development.

Essential Functions

• Assist in quantity take‑offs and cost estimating using construction drawings and specifications
• Support bid solicitation and tracking from subcontractors and vendors
• Help prepare and organize bid packages and proposal documents
• Participate in pre‑bid meetings and site visits when applicable
• Assist in maintaining project documentation and logs
• Conduct research on materials, vendors, and historical project costs
• Learn and utilize industry‑standard software (e.g., Bluebeam, On‑Screen Takeoff, Procore, Excel)
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including estimating, field operations, and IT
• Support special projects as assigned by your Supervisor
