The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field and 1–3+ years of commercial estimating experience. Proficiency with industry software and MS Office is essential.

• 1–3+ years of commercial preconstruction estimating experience.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency with estimating software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates by analyzing drawings and specifications.
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
• Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure accurate pricing.
• Engage with clients to clarify scope changes and address questions during the bidding process.
• Provide vital cost information for project adjustments throughout phases.
• Review budget and profitability with supervision and project team.
• Seek input on corrective measures to improve accuracy of cost figures.
• Occasionally traveling for Prebid and bid drop-offs.
• Conduct searches for perspective bid opportunities.
