Qualifications

• Student in architecture, engineering, or construction management seeking real world experience.
• Motivated, eager to learn, and capable of asking questions.
• Interest in preconstruction, estimating, and construction technology.

Responsibilities

• Support Estimating Activities by shadowing estimators and assisting with bid packages and pricing.
• Develop quantity take-offs and cost models with the Estimating and VDC/BIM teams.
• Leverage construction technology using REVIT and other digital tools.
• Support bid analysis and procurement to ensure estimates are accurate and aligned with requirements.
• Attend preconstruction strategy meetings and observe how teams estimate and plan.
• Assist with assembling preconstruction materials for client presentations.
• Identify and qualify new material suppliers and subcontractors for bid management.
• Learn from estimators and preconstruction leadership to gain exposure to all stages of the process.
• Explore IMC technology initiatives, including AR/VR applications and drones.
• Become familiar with tools like SmartBid, Revit, SketchUp, and related software.
