Job summary

IMC Construction invites ambitious architecture, engineering, and construction management students to join our Preconstruction/Estimating team as interns. You will work closely with seasoned estimators and leaders, gaining hands-on exposure to budgeting, bid development, and procurement strategies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a construction-related degree program.
• Architectural Drafting focus preferred but not required.
• Strong interest in VDC and BIM.

Responsibilities

• Shadow estimators and assist with bid packages and pricing.
• Develop quantity take-offs and cost models during design and bid.
• Assist with REVIT-based visualization and digital tools.
• Support bid analysis and procurement activities.
• Participate in preconstruction strategy meetings and client deliverables.
• Help identify new suppliers and build industry relationships.
• Learn from senior estimators and preconstruction leadership.
• Explore innovative construction technologies like AR/VR and drones.
• Expand technical knowledge of preconstruction tools.
