Ernest-Gordon-Recruitment-Limited is seeking a detail-oriented Preconstruction Estimating Department Administrator to join its on-site team in a growing commercial construction environment. You will support procurement, document control, bid coordination and the preparation of accurate proposals and estimates.

The role requires reading plans and specifications, strong math skills and proficiency with Word/Excel; STACK experience is a plus.

Qualificações

• Minimum 2-year degree in Building Construction Technology, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related discipline.
• Ability to read and understand complex construction plans and specs.
• Strong mathematical ability and experience producing accurate quantity takeoffs and managing detailed project information.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel; STACK experience advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Preconstruction team with information procurement, document control, bid coordination and the preparation of accurate proposals, estimates and presentations.
• Coordinate plans, specifications, addenda, scopes, takeoffs, subcontractor and vendor quotations, ensuring bid information is complete, organised and submitted accurately.
• Assist with subcontractor and vendor procurement, pre-qualification and database management, while supporting competitive bidding, budgeting, forecasting and project risk analysis.
• Support client and business development activity by maintaining relationships, identifying new opportunities and coordinating marketing, lead generation, bid bonds and insurance requirements.
