Job summary

HTU seeks a Preconstruction role focused on supporting senior staff with budget development, pricing, and document control. You will help in the buyout phase, maintain estimating databases, perform quantity surveys, and support project planning and sales efforts.

No formal experience is required, though estimating experience or internships during education are preferred. A four-year engineering degree or equivalent training, LEED accreditation or willingness to obtain it, and MS Office

• A four-year engineering degree or equivalent technical training and/or related experience.
• LEED accreditation or willingness to obtain it.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite programs.

Responsibilities

• Supporting all facets of preconstruction efforts under senior staff direction.
• Assisting in buyout phase as needed.
• Distributing project documents.
• Maintaining and updating estimating databases such as cost and subcontractors.
• Performing quantity surveys.
• Providing administrative support for the Preconstruction Department and projects.
• Soliciting subcontractor pricing.
• Soliciting and developing pricing for hard bid and alternate delivery method projects.
• Participating in project planning, sales support, and preconstruction project management.
