Intrinsic Development is seeking a Preconstruction Coordinator in Lee's Summit, MO to support preconstruction activities. You will manage bid processes, organize plans and specifications, and maintain subcontractor databases.

Your role ensures clear communication between internal teams and subcontractors for timely, accurate bids. The position emphasizes organization, attention to detail, and coordination across multiple stakeholders to help set up projects for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or Engineering, or years of equivalent experience.
• Estimating experience in commercial/multifamily construction preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Preconstruction Team in soliciting and following up on bid proposals from subcontractors.
• Coordinate distribution and printing of plans and specifications; create binders and labels; file estimates; schedule meetings and take minutes.
• Maintain and expand the subcontractor database; ensure prequalification data is current.
• Contact subcontractors to ensure comprehensive bid coverage.
• Attend project setup meetings and create startup kits.
• Upload and organize project plans, specs, and docs in PM software; manage files and submittal logs.
• Perform accurate take-offs and identify requirements for estimates.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as copying, scanning, printing labels, shipping, and bids.
