Job summary

Baker Water, LLC in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Preconstruction Coordinator to lead bid package coordination from initial review through final submission.

You will review and prepare bidding documents, manage bonding/insurance requests, and draft RFIs to clarify project requirements. The role also serves as CRM SME and supports corporate safety communications and regional prequalification efforts.

Qualifications

• Associates degree and 5 years of equivalent experience in estimating, operations or executive assistance or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Manage quotes in SmartBid and distribute quotes to the estimating team
• Coordinate with Baker Risk and Bonds/Surety for insurance forms and related forms
• Client/owner portal management, including registrations and prequalification data
• Support proposal teams by extracting RFP requirements and coordinating signatures/notaries
• Maintain pursuit and past-project data for proposals
• Work in CRM database and with the Corporate PMO
• Lead regional prequalification processes and third-party systems (Avetta, ISNetworld, TradeTapp)
• Assist Estimators with filling out bid forms and submission
• Attend weekly regional BD/Estimating Meetings
• Gather project metrics and update databases
• Organize materials for Safety Week across BCE Companies
• Support Safety with communications and training materials
• Provide regional projects to Marketing for the corporate website
• Provide administrative support for Marketing, Business Development, and Estimating
