Job summary

GC Therapeutics seeks a Research Associate to support preclinical efforts with hands-on in vitro and in vivo studies. You will work with cross-functional teams to generate high-quality data and help advance the therapeutic pipeline.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of lab experience, is comfortable with rodent studies, tissue processing, and molecular biology techniques, and is eager to contribute to preclinical drug development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, biomedical sciences, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant laboratory experience in biotech or CRO settings.
• Hands-on rodent experience and tissue processing capabilities.
• Experience with immunohistochemistry, microscopy, and flow cytometry.
• Mammalian cell culture and core molecular biology techniques such as DNA/RNA extraction and PCR.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs and document work.

Responsibilities

• Execute rodent in vivo studies including dosing, monitoring, necropsy, and tissue collection.
• Support colony maintenance and genotyping.
• Perform tissue sectioning, immunohistochemistry/immunofluorescence, microscopy, and image analysis.
• Maintain mammalian cell cultures and perform molecular biology assays (DNA/RNA extraction, PCR).
• Analyze data and prepare figures/presentations for internal meetings.
• Keep accurate lab/animal records per SOPs and safety requirements.
• Collaborate across research teams; occasional weekend coverage for animal studies.
