seeks a Preclinical Coordinator to provide administrative project oversight under supervision within the PQRA team, supporting Walter Reed Army Institute of Research programs and advancing preclinical drug and device development. You will coordinate operational logistics for drug product packaging and labeling, coordinate manufacturing and pharm/tox studies, and maintain comprehensive tracking files to ensure on-time

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong attention to detail, follow-through and documentation.
• Experience reconciling financial spreadsheets helpful for expenditure tracking.
• Experience scheduling meetings and documenting meeting minutes helpful.
• Knowledge of organizational objectives, the federal budget process, office automation helpful.
• Ability to work completely independently, use sound judgement in solving problems.
• Coordinate many complex systems and programs simultaneously.
• Good communications skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operational logistics for drug product package and labeling conducted at qualified vendor facilities.
• Assist with coordination of operational logistics for drug product manufacturing, stability testing, and pharm/tox studies.
• Create and maintain operational tracking files, including deliverable tracking, inventory tracking and projected use of inventory, expenditure tracking and others.
• Assist with reconciliation of tracked discrepancies (inventory, invoices, etc).
• Provide administrative support to the preclinical team including scheduling meetings, drafting slides, minutes and other administrative documents.
