Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Research Specialist to work with investigators and imaging staff on preclinical studies using live animals and human tissue samples. You will process imaging data, support protocol development, and contribute to data-backed reports and presentations.

You will be involved in imaging protocol development, data workflow optimization, and hardware prototyping, collaborating with engineers and researchers to advance neuroscience imaging technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Experience with animal research (1-2 years) and imaging data handling preferred.
• Experience with programming languages (Python, MATLAB, R or similar) (1-2 years) required/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and support MRI-related imaging equipment.
• Design, execute, and troubleshoot imaging studies using live animals.
• Process imaging data, perform initial analysis, and support manuscript preparation.
