Job summary

Altasciences is seeking a Scientific Services Supervisor to lead a high-performing team in in-life preclinical studies across multiple animal models. You will mentor Research Associates, coordinate work with Study Directors and Veterinarians, and drive operational excellence while upholding regulatory compliance and animal welfare.

You will oversee study planning, execution, data collection, and documentation, ensuring timelines are met and standards are consistently applied across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a life sciences field.
• Minimum 3 years of animal research experience.
• At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and develop Research Associates and Specialists.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute preclinical studies with study teams.
• Monitor study progress and ensure adherence to protocols and timelines.
• Develop SOPs and maintain training programs for the team.
• Ensure GLP and animal welfare compliance in all activities.
