Job summary

Hancock & Moore in Taylorsville, NC is seeking a dedicated assembler to construct wood frame parts for high-end furniture. You will read tickets, assemble components, and work to meet quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred candidates hold a High school diploma or GED and/or prior assembling experience, and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., work in a noisy environment, and follow safety rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous assembling experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read ticket and assemble wood parts for frame based on ticket specs.
• Maintain quality standards and production levels in assigned work areas.
• Use a variety of tools including staple guns, ziz wheels, grinders, drills, tape measure, and screwdrivers.
• Review assembled product to ensure there are no defects and take to the next work station.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
