Job summary

Kelly in Anaheim, CA is seeking a skilled Wire/Sinker EDM Machinist to join our precision machining team. You will set up, fixture, and operate Wire EDM and Sinker EDM machines to produce aerospace-grade components.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience, reads blueprints, performs inspections, and maintains high quality while working on first or second shift. This role prioritizes accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience operating Wire EDM and/or Sinker EDM machines.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
• Experience with machine setup, fixturing, inspection, and precision measurement.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on increasing levels of responsibility.
• ITAR requirement: U.S. citizen or eligible for authorization.

Responsibilities

• Set up, fixture, and operate Wire EDM and/or Sinker EDM machines.
• Measure and inspect parts to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Manage multiple machining jobs with productivity and attention to detail.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure machine reliability.
• Support continuous improvement focused on quality and efficiency.
• Communicate quality and equipment concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment following procedures.
• Assist with additional shop duties as assigned.
