Job summary

You will read and follow production procedures, operate and maintain machines, perform quality inspections, and record data in AS400 while adhering to safety and 6S guidelines.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Able to work with machine inspection equipment.
• Overhead crane experience in an industrial setting is required.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Math and deductive reasoning skills.

Responsibilities

• Coil Safety at O&K American; read, understand, and follow it.
• Read, understand, and follow all production procedures for W/D.
• Follow power outage instructions and safety protocols.
• Understand all aspects of machine operation and safety.
• General maintenance and troubleshoot of machines and 6S.
• Inspect coils and calibrate equipment as needed.
• Enter data into AS400 production screen.
• Identify rod nonconformances and ensure proper labeling.
