Responsibilities

• String payoff; weld and grind material as applicable.
• Set up die boxes with proper alignment; ensure correct dies and lubricant.
• Set up by measuring wire diameter between each draw.
• Inspect material during processing to ensure quality.
• Complete all documentation and submit work orders to supervisor.
• Train new operators when necessary.
• Keep the work area neat and well maintained.
• Properly use a micrometer.
• Operate a crane and a forklift.
• Cut samples for quality control.
• Assist production manager and other operators as needed.
