Combined Metals Company, LLC in Sycamore, Illinois seeks a production operator to join its team. The role involves operating equipment to process and inspect specialty strip and wire, setting up dies, and maintaining quality through micrometer measurements.

You will train new operators, keep documentation accurate, and assist production management to keep work areas neat and compliant with safety standards. This on-site position offers competitive compensation for hourly work.

• Consistently string payoff; point weld, and grind material as applicable
• Consistently set up die boxes, ensure proper alignment, ensure correct dies and lubricant are being used
• Consistently set up by measuring wire diameter between each draw
• Inspect material during processing to ensure proper quality is maintained
• Complete all documentation and turn in work order to supervisor
• Train new operators, if necessary
• Ensure work are is neat and properly maintained
• Properly use a micrometer
• Operate a crane and a forklift
• Cut samples for quality control
• Assist production manager and other operators as necessary
