Job summary

Combined Metals is a premier North American processor and distributor of specialty strip and wire, serving over 3,000 customers across Aerospace, Defense, Nuclear, Medical, and more. We are seeking a hands-on associate to promote safety, prepare metal wires, inspect bulk product, and communicate with teams while operating forklifts and overhead cranes.

A high school diploma and manufacturing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safety culture and adhere to plant safety policies and procedures.
• Prepare metal wires by using machinery to anneal and wash according to customer and manufacturing needs.
• Assist manufacturing with preparing and inspecting bulk product and report/remove defects as needed.
• Communicate with manufacturing, quality and operations staff to discuss and escalate product or equipment issues.
• Operate heavy machinery, forklift, and overhead crane, plus general tools.
• Participate in training and certification programs as needed.
• Maintain a safe and orderly work environment by removing scrap and checking machines.
