Job summary

Cerro Wire LLC in Carrollton, GA is seeking a Machine Operator to operate extrusion and related equipment to produce wire that meets precise tolerances and finishes. You will monitor machines, set controls for temperature, speed and thickness, and perform quality checks for cosmetics and color prints while adhering to safety procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Experience as machine operator preferred.
Ability to read and apply safety instructions.
Ability to work in a potentially stressful environment.
Strong math and basic computer skills.
Color vision required.
Experience with material handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

Set up extrusion and related machines.
Adjust controls for temperature, speed, thickness.
Inspect extruded wire for defects and conformance.
Move materials with hoist, crane, or forklift.
Perform preventive maintenance as required.
Maintain cleanliness and safety compliance.
Update GEMBA boards and participate in lean events.
