Oberg Industries in Sarver, PA seeks skilled Wire EDM Operators to run advanced Wire Electrical Discharge Machines in a high-precision, hands-on manufacturing environment. The role supports day and night shifts with a 20% differential for night hours.

You will perform routine maintenance, manage multiple machines, interpret blueprints, and ensure quality, safety, and efficiency while contributing to a collaborative, growth-oriented team.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong math knowledge including algebra, geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and systems.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
• Must wear PPE and stand for extended periods; lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate Wire EDM machines to produce precision components.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic wire-EDM tasks, including slug removal.
• Run multiple machines simultaneously and plan workloads for unattended operation.
• Diagnose problems and correct equipment issues using tools and experience.
• Adhere to quality, safety, and security procedures; maintain a clean work area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
