Job summary

Moeller Precision Tool is seeking an experienced Wire EDM Operator to join the night shift in Antioch, TN. Earn $24-$29/hr base pay plus a $2.25 Night Shift Premium and weekly overtime in a clean, climate-controlled precision machining environment.

You will set up and run Wire EDM machines, read blueprints, verify tight tolerances, and inspect finished components using precision measuring tools. Prior experience with tool steel and Mitsubishi, Makino, or Fanuc equipment is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Wire EDM or related machining experience.
• Experience with tool steel strongly preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Experience holding tight tolerances on precision components.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with Mitsubishi, Makino, Fanuc, or similar Wire EDM equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load material and fixtures for production runs.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Verify dimensions and maintain tight tolerances.

What You Need

• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with Mitsubishi, Makino, Fanuc, or similar Wire EDM equipment is a plus.

Night Shift Schedule

• Training on Day Shift, transition to nights.
• 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM (Mon-Fri).
• 45-50 hours/week (OT Required).
