Responsibilities

  • Operate Wire Electrical Discharge Machines (EDM).
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic wire-EDM functions.
  • Run multiple machines simultaneously.
  • Plan workloads for maximum unattended operations.
  • Diagnose and correct problems using testing tools.

This position is located in Sarver, PA, and we are hiring for both day and night shifts. 20% shift differential is paid for working the night shift.

What You Will Do as a Wirecut Operator:
  • Operate Wire Electrical Discharge Machines (EDM) to produce precision components.
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic wire-EDM functions, including removing slugs from workpieces.
  • Run multiple machines simultaneously and plan workloads to maximize unattended operations.
  • Plan workloads to maximize unattended machine operations and production efficiency.
  • Locate, diagnose, and correct problems in equipment and systems using testing tools and prior experience.
  • Comply with all company quality system standards, safety, and security procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring to our Team:
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

  • Ability to stand, sit, stool, kneel or work in bent positions for up to 10 hours per day.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds with control and unassisted.
Preferred Education/Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior machining or wire EDM experience a plus.
