Job summary

Northwire, Inc. in Osceola, WI, is seeking a production teammate to operate braiding machines and weave fine wire and thread over cable. You will perform setup, run braiding lines, and help maintain quality to meet customer specs in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 1–2 years of manufacturing experience, basic math and dexterity, and adherence to safety PPE. Overtime is possible and a non-exempt, full-time schedule applies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• 1 to 2 years previous manufacturing experience preferred; mechanical aptitude and experience with manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, operate and troubleshoot Braiding process.
• Retrieve data on computer and set-up jobs as scheduled.
• Order raw materials from Material Handler as needed for your assigned process.
• Use barcode scanner to verify material part numbers.
• Maintain product documentation per requirements.
• Perform and document all quality inspections as required.
• Maintain current on SOPs and Work Instructions for assigned process.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE.
• Practice 5s+1 in the area and common areas.
• Assist with scheduled facility inventories.
