Job summary

Central Wire Group of Companies is seeking aProduction Technician to measure, cut, and assemble cable components. You will operate crimping and hydroforming equipment, change dies for new runs, and perform quality checks on products.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, ability to read calipers and tape measures, and willingness to work overtime on an 8-hour shift in person. Health and retirement benefits are provided.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Read and follow written and visual work instructions.
  • Ability to read calipers, micrometers and tape measures (english and metric).
  • Use go/no-go gauges.
  • Understanding of decimal places in measurements.

Responsibilities

  • Measure and cut cable to required lengths.
  • Attach assembly components to cable.
  • Operate crimping equipment to secure components.
  • Load and operate hydroforming equipment.
  • Change machine dies for new production runs.
  • Perform visual quality inspections on WIP and finished product.
  • Record production and quality checks on logs.
  • Package completed WIP and finished product.
