Job summary

PIC Wire in Waukesha, WI is seeking a Manufacturing Technician II to assemble cable assemblies per customer specifications, read work orders and prints, and operate tools such as a laser wire marker and overmold press.

You will solder and crimp connectors (coaxial, USB, Ethernet), perform labeling, testing, and documentation, and ensure compliance with safety policies and quality standards while supporting continuous improvement and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical certificate preferred.
• 2–3 years PCB/electronics experience or related work.
• Strong English communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cables per customer specifications and prints.
• Identify cable types, measure and cut to length; operate laser marker.
• Solder, crimp connectors (coaxial/USB/Ethernet) and assemble components.
• Label, cure with shrink tubing, test continuity and document results.
• Maintain safety/quality standards and complete production records.
• Collaborate with team and support continuous improvement efforts.
