Job summary

PIC Wire & Cable in Wisconsin is seeking a Manufacturing Technician II to assemble standard and complex electronic cable assemblies according to customer specs, under supervision. The role emphasizes reading work orders, documenting processes, and maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• Two to three years working with PCB and/or small electronic devices or related experience.
• Strong, professional English verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Demonstrated accuracy, consistency, and thoroughness.

Responsibilities

• Read and apply PIC Safety Policies and Manufacturing Work Instructions with minimal guidance.
• Review work orders, diagrams, prints and other technical specifications to determine materials and processes for cable assemblies.
• Assemble cable assemblies using soldering and crimping techniques, integrating connectors (coaxial, USB, Ethernet) and MachForce connector as needed.
• Operate laser wire marker and overmold press to mark, cut and mold connectors.
• Label, seal, and finish cables with shrink tubing and labels; ensure completed assemblies meet specifications.
• Accurately complete production reports, QA logs, and job paperwork.
• Support team goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform preventative maintenance on work orders.
• Adhere to Angelus Guiding Principles and maintain safety, quality, and work-life balance.
