Job summary

Enpro Inc. is seeking a skilled welder to operate automated and semi-automated welding equipment for complex assemblies used in the semiconductor and aerospace industries.

You will read detailed drawings, perform basic math, collect quality data, and address quality issues while maintaining machines per the preventive maintenance schedule. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and precise workmanship.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years in a welding/manufacturing environment.
• Gas Tungsten Arc, Plasma Arc, and Electron Beam welding experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated or semi-automated welding equipment to weld assemblies for Semiconductor and Aerospace industries.
• Read and interpret routine assembly and detailed drawings; apply basic math to meet production requirements.
• Collect and record quality data, evaluate data to ensure production requirements are met.
• Identify quality problems and correct or escalate to the appropriate staff.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines as prescribed; identify and report machine performance issues.
