Job summary

Enpro, via Technetics Semi, seeks a welder to operate a broad range of welding equipment to assemble and inspect sophisticated components used in the semiconductor and aerospace sectors in Daytona Beach, FL.

You will read drawings, perform basic math, and record quality data to ensure production targets are met; maintain equipment regularly and work with the team to address issues in a safe environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 2 years in a welding or manufacturing environment.
• Mechanically inclined is a plus. Any experience in GTAW, Plasma Arc, Electron Beam welding preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated or semi-automated welding equipment to weld assemblies for Semiconductor and Aerospace industries.
• Read and interpret routine drawings; use basic math to meet production needs.
• Collect and record quality data; evaluate data to ensure production requirements are met.
• Identify quality problems as they occur and engage the appropriate staff for correction.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines as prescribed.
• Identify machine performance issues and engage staff to resolve.
