Senior Metal Bellows is seeking a motivated entry-level technician to join our precision manufacturing team in Sharon, MA. You’ll learn to read engineering drawings, set up tools, and perform precision assembly with close supervision and hands-on training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Willingness to learn in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong work ethic for precision work.
• Attention to detail and pride in producing quality results.
• Ability to follow technical documentation and instructions accurately.
• Ability to read and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and translate engineering drawings and instructions into precise work.
• Master the use of hand tools and tabletop arbor presses.
• Perform HELICOIL installations with correct insertion and tang-break tools.
• Optimize welding performance by grinding tungsten electrodes to exact standards.
• Handle advanced materials up to 200°C and thermal processing like shrink-fit or LN2 cooling.
• Apply epoxy, potting compounds, and paints with proper curing and safety knowledge.
• Use micrometers and vernier calipers to verify dimensions and inspect welds for quality.
• Drive continuous improvement by adjusting machine settings and tooling within tolerances.
• Use basic computer systems for labor transactions and production tracking.
