Job summary

Aristeo is seeking a Welder who can read shop drawings, apply welds to exact specifications, and support our in-house steel fabrication shop in Michigan. This is a second shift position (3:30 PM – 2:00 AM) with Monday to Friday work.

You will team with the Fitter to assemble structural and miscellaneous steel, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and contribute to quality projects for national clients. High school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating shop equipment, welding, and burning.
• Experience with structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Read shop drawings for weld symbols and application of welds to make sure the work meets the customer's specifications.
• Team up with the Fitter to assemble and fabricate steel.
• Keep your area on the shop floor clean, organized, and safe.
